In today's age, people are inundated with mail so it's imperative to differentiate yourself to stand apart from all of the noise. Every year we throw an extravagant invitation-only Christmas party for our top clients. These clients are affluent individuals who are extremely busy and are notoriously difficult to reach through marketing. In past years, we saw a disappointing response rate from our high-end formal invitations. We sought out to create something different this year by developing a high-impact direct mail piece that was so intriguing those clients HAD to attend. The invitation was designed to reflect the theme of the event - Martinis & Mistletoe - and elicit intrigue and excitement for the elaborate soiree. It is an experience from the moment you receive the invitation, meant to evoke the thrill and anticipation of opening a surprise present on Christmas morning. A textured black box houses a full-sized crystal martini glass positioned alongside a shimmering invitation adorned with the event details in green and silver foil. The results from the invitation were overwhelming! We reduced the number of invitations sent by 70% and saw a huge increase in RSVP's and event attendance. The invitation was the perfect match for the event and really set the tone - it was elegant, fun, unique and over-the-top.
