S&C Reliability Experience

Why is keeping the lights on for homes and businesses so important? Showing the equipment that can help reduce the frequency and duration of outages is easy, but explaining "why" the equipment is important requires a trip into the field to walk in the shoes of line workers and those affected by power outages - an impossibility at tradeshows. S&C's Reliability Experience solved this problem by taking show attendees into the field through an immersive learning experience that landed why S&C's technology was so valuable in an alluring, engaging, and memorable way. The Mixed Reality demo consisted of a 20’ x 14’ LED screen that showed three core scenarios (one for each area of the grid), and using a greenscreen wall and two cameras, attendees were projected into each scenario: a blizzard, a hurricane, and a remote mountainside cabin.
Company presenters led attendees through these scenarios, narrating each scene as the scenario unfolded and ultimately leading attendees to the conclusion of the “why” behind our products.
