[ OBJECTIVE & CHALLENGE ]
The project's goal was to use visual language to create a warm, handmade, and welcoming brand image for a coffee shop in a community. Because the design was remote during the pandemic, I was unable to conduct a field visit, which posed a challenge to the design. I needed to communicate with the store owners on a regular basis via video conference as well as collaborate with the interior designer to finalize many interior details, etc. Due to a limited budget and time, the owner also requested that I promote the brand as much as possible through the design. With this background, I began to investigate and research further.

[ OUTCOME ]
To finalize the details, brand research and video sessions were used. The streets of the neighborhoods where the cafes are located inspired the name "LOUD CAFE" and circular motifs. The cafes are in a historic, friendly neighborhood where people used to gather to talk, walk, and enjoy the changing seasons.
I wanted the color palette's warm, bright hues to highlight the stores' warm and welcoming atmosphere. Simultaneously, the geometric shape of the circles was used to explore additional possibilities and add interest to the brand.
I designed stickers for the brand using the constant visual exploration that could be used on the packaging, bread paper, posters, or even given away as badges or free stickers. With a limited budget, this vastly expands the brand's possibilities.
LOUD CAFE first opened in 2021 and quickly became the most popular coffee shop in the neighborhood. Handmade bread is also popular with children and contributes to local development by creating numerous job opportunities. In keeping with the brand's main motto, it aspires to create a warm, artisanal, and welcoming environment for the local community
