Agency Guacamole concepted and executed the Therabody Beauty Depuffing Wand “Bye Bye Baggage” storefront pop-up event in New York City, hosting 140 attendees including media, influencers and beauty experts. Designed as an immersive travel-themed experience, the event transformed the Anita Rogers Gallery into the “Bye Bye Baggage” terminal, reinforcing the product’s core benefit – helping consumers say goodbye to puffiness.
Upon arrival, guests received a boarding pass to Flight D33 Puff and checked in at a branded departures desk. They then signed up for a Depuffing session, guided by experts, to experience the product firsthand. The pop-up space featured branded product displays, signage and interactive activations, fully immersing attendees in the travel-inspired world of Therabody Beauty.
Guests captured passport-style photos at Dee Puff’s Passport Photo Booth, with prints designed to resemble passport pages. A bellhop-themed photo moment included vintage hotel keychains, a bellhop cart and luggage installations, all custom-designed in the brand's colors.
While in the Therabody Beauty travel terminal, guests were able to stop by "Dee Puff’s Glowing News," a grab-and-go snack station inspired by Hudson News, offering Therabody Beauty-branded gourmet popcorn, pretzels, chocolates and cookies. They also grabbed specialty beverages from the Therabody Beauty coffee stand with custom latte art, as well as champagne and rosé from Dee Puff’s “Bubbly Sip Sip Glow” bike cart.
Before departing, attendees visited the Gift Bag Baggage Claim, where they used their boarding passes to receive a Therabody Beauty tote filled with the Depuffing Wand and a vintage hotel keychain.
The event successfully introduced the Therabody Beauty Depuffing Wand through a highly curated, immersive experience, generating strong social media engagement with hundreds of organic posts from top influencers and media.
Attendees praised the event’s creative execution and interactive elements, calling it a standout beauty launch. The strategic branding and unique activations reinforced Therabody Beauty’s positioning as an innovator in skincare technology. The event also strengthened relationships with media and influencers, paving the way for continued brand partnerships, heightened press coverage and increased product awareness, further positioning the Depuffing Wand as a must-have beauty tool.
