The “SUPO” packaging design centers on its IP character, blending Su Dongpo’s cultural spirit with the traditional pickling craftsmanship of Meishan. The lid is inspired by Su Dongpo’s Zizhan hat and the shape of a mountain of pickled vegetables, while the bottle itself is transformed into the face of the character Su Xiaopao, creating a highly recognizable IP-style container.
Its biggest innovation lies in breaking the conventional single way of eating pickles by introducing the concept of “one jar, two ways to enjoy”.
• Inside the jar is live-lactobacillus fermented pickles, preserving the authentic flavor of traditional brined sauerkraut.
• Outside the jar is dried pickle snacks or crispy pickle chips, designed for easy, on-the-go consumption.
This design balances culture and fun, allowing consumers to experience both food and play in one product — from culinary tradition to creative enjoyment.
