About The Entry

Printed on stone paper, an innovative eco-material, the handbook requires no water, no wood, and produces zero wastewater during production—significantly reducing resource consumption at the source (Reduce). Stone paper is also waterproof, oil-resistant, tear-proof, and insect-repellent, ensuring the handbook remains durable and functional long after the exhibition ends.
A QR code on the back cover links to four original artworks by the artist. The first two are coloring-friendly line drawings, inviting personal reinterpretation through any medium; the latter two are gold award–winning ink illustrations from international art competitions. These digital files can be downloaded repeatedly—for coloring, collecting, or crafting custom items like fridge magnets—extending the handbook’s life through creative reuse (Reuse).
At end-of-life, the handbook remains eco-conscious. Stone paper can enter standard plastic recycling streams, where it’s shredded and reprocessed into new products like planters, bins, or colored bags (Recycle). Even if not recycled, it breaks down harmlessly: under sunlight, it fragments like eggshells and eventually returns to nature—emitting no toxic fumes when burned and leaving no pollution behind.
Visually, the design contrasts a bold black cover with soft green interior pages. The cover features hand-drawn floral motifs and the artist’s custom “Jesse” logo—distinctive yet refined. Inside, content curated by the artist includes a bio, exhibition guide, and selected work descriptions. Each page is grounded by layered green gradients, topped with delicate sketches of leaves and butterflies—subtly echoing the exhibition’s floral theme.
