Here at Lenox Hill Hospital, our NICU team knows every journey is different but equally as difficult. That’s why Genesis and several daytime nurses handcraft fully customized “graduation” outfits — down to the color of the tape — for babies born before 30 weeks who spend 8–10 weeks in the NICU.
Though the outfits will only fit for a few months, this small gesture marks a powerful milestone and makes their homecoming even more meaningful.
