The 2025 Taipei Youth Ideal Living Festival, initiated by Taipei’s Department of Youth Affairs, was created to bring youth policy closer to everyday life. Rather than communicating through traditional channels, the city transformed the Taipei Performing Arts Center into a two-day experiential platform where young people could see, hear, and shape their own vision of an ideal future.
The festival integrated live music, comedy, dance battles, a curated youth creative market featuring 30 emerging brands, and an International Cultural Experience Zone representing five continents. Interactive exhibition areas focused on career exploration, entrepreneurship, global exchange, and civic participation—turning policy themes into tangible, engaging experiences.
By blending entertainment, creativity, and public resources into one cohesive narrative, the festival shifted youth engagement from passive awareness to active participation. More than a celebration, it became a statement of Taipei’s commitment to empowering young voices and building a city where the next generation can imagine—and create—their ideal life.
