Raytheon wanted to promote the partnership between Raytheon and GSU as a program that empowers girls to explore the discipline and creativity of computer programming, engage girls in Think Like a Programmer, and exposing them to career paths like cyber security where these skills can be used. This video presents a dynamic interplay between powerful interview excerpts from women in high-level leadership positions in Raytheon and in Girl Scouts of America, and whimsical sound bites from actual Girl Scouts who have experienced the new STEM program offerings. Engaging b-roll shots depict the girls in a variety of fun and energetic scenarios: experiencing the new STEM in troop meetings and experiencing the advanced technology of Raytheon facilities. These disparate situations reinforce the link between STEM programming and the ability to work in a high tech or cyber field. It was a challenge to create a piece that satisfied stakeholders that were so vastly different it focus, but in the end the piece reflected all aspects of the program.
