We created a highly visual website to tell the record-making story of how a century old railroad wall in Newark became the largest mural on the East Coast. The website integrates diverse media, from video to photography, from 360 to interactive video. The website features the inaugural PORTRAITS Mural, part of the Gateways to Newark (G2N) initiative - which promises to transform and beautify the entryways to the City of Newark, led by the Newark Downtown District. The goal was to deliver a modern, fully responsive website that reflected the ambition of the project, honored the artists responsible and reflected Newark's creative aspirations. Furthermore, the website was designed to readily accommodate future G2N projects via its UX and CMS infrastructures.
