MUSE Creative Awards

The MUSE Creative Awards, established in 2015 by the International Awards Associate (IAA) as part of the MUSE Awards Program, celebrates and honors excellence and innovation in creative design, advertising, and digital media. IAA was founded with a mission not only to honor and promote but also to redefine benchmarks for recognizing exceptional design and media contributions. This mission has been central in molding the ethos and aspirations of the MUSE Creative Awards.

Spanning a diverse range of categories, the MUSE Creative Awards recognizes the best achievements from advertising to digital media, as well as in marketing strategies and PR communications. Entrants from all corners of the world participate, showcasing creative advertising, design, and campaigns that inspire and set new benchmarks in the industry.

The MUSE Awards is designed for the convenience of our entrants by way of online registrations and submissions.

Eligibility

The MUSE Creative Awards accepts entries from agencies, graphic design companies, web and digital entities, production companies, and freelancers. We welcome submissions from all over the world.

Entries must have been produced after January 1, 2023.

Requirements

Entry Brief:
It is recommended that you keep your synopsis to approximately 350 words. The brief should strengthen your entry, as well as providing the jury a better understanding of your project. A written translation or adaptation must accompany non-English entries.

Image Submission:
The submissions should be saved in a flattened JPEG or JPG format. (keep them under 4MB, 1,200px wide is preferable, 300dpi, RGB).

Video / Audio Submission:
Entries with audio/video must be submitted with a direct URL that will take judges directly to the work:
1. Upload video/audio to Vimeo/YouTube/Youku.
2. Paste the URL link into the URL field.

Winning Levels

There are THREE (3) levels of achievement in the competition:

Platinum MUSE (85-100 points)

Gold MUSE (70-84 points)

Silver MUSE (50-69 points)

The number of awards presented by MUSE Creative Awards is determined by the number of submissions in a given category, the scoring range and the number of tie scores.

Judging Criteria

Judges are senior-level, experienced in their field/industry, including creative and art directors from international agencies, architects, fashion designers, interior designers, product designers, educators, or business owners. Judges are selected based on experience, credibility and availability

Judging is blind. All entrant information is removed from entries to prevent bias/conflict of interest. Judges score on a scale of 1-100, based on the below criteria:

MUSE also keeps its submission process simple, and everything can be completed online. When an entrant wins, they would not need to pay any acceptance fees to have their achievement announced globally.

About Social Responsibility

IAA has always recognized the efforts of the creative community worldwide by producing pro bono work for outside nonprofits. You may enter up to three entries when you participate in the MUSE Creative Awards. The free pro bono entries are only applicable to participants who joined other MUSE Awards categories.

To be eligible for FREE entry, you must be an official representative of the company. Agencies, individuals, or freelancers cannot represent a client's company to participate in this category. However, they may enter the "Non-Profit" category instead.

Deadlines & Fees

MUSE Creative Awards makes every effort to keep entry costs low.

Rather than increasing the fee for each entry, fees are only charged in order to cover administrative costs like printing, mailing and data organization. For this reason, each participant is charged a flat $30 annual administrative fee. When all participants pay the same low fee, those submitting more than one entry will actually pay less than if fees were on a sliding scale.

* Fees are non-refundable. Withdrawn entries (whether withdrawn by entrant or by the MUSE Awards for entrant's failure to comply with the entry rules) will NOT be refunded.

* Multiple entries must be submitted at the same time as your first entry in order to be counted as "additional category". An entry submitted at a later time will be counted as a "first entry".
