The brief for a new video arose when the University of Northampton encountered a need to educate and inform existing and potential students on the new 'Active Blending Learning' style being offered by the university. This will encourage students to take responsibility for their style and pace of learning and optimise time with lecturers. They particularly wanted to emphasise the point that the student viewing the video is an individual and will be supported with their academic, assessment and digital needs that will result in future employability.
They knew they wanted to convey all this in a playful manner and the result is our character ‘Bob’ delivering the key messages. He invites the viewer to be inspired, reassured and intrigued enough to find out more about learning at the University of Northampton.
