The world keeps spinning during COVID-19, and Parsons is developing technology to help society reopen while remaining rooted in our corporate mission of delivering a better world. For example, we’ve answered that challenge with DetectWise™, our newly developed touchless, biometric scanning solution that monitors real-time health symptoms and facilitates the safe movement of people in public areas.

With minimal budget, our communication and marketing team launched a proactive, paid social media campaign to generate interest in DetectWise by

1) Increasing awareness of DetectWise through a targeted two-month paid social media campaign that drove qualified users to the product’s webpage on Parsons.com:

a. Impressions: 765,115
b. Clicks: 3,737

2) Generating targeted sales leads from organizations and industries that would benefit from DetectWise:
a. Leads: 81
b. Sales through social media: 74 percent of the total sales

The communications team relied heavily on paid social media (specifically LinkedIn) to raise awareness of DetectWise among key target audiences and to generate qualified business leads. Our DetectWise program manager described the team’s digital marketing efforts as “The lifeblood of our sales pipeline.”

Today, DetectWise is deployed across the healthcare, medical, and retirement communities; the Department of Defense; educational institutions; commercial and industrial companies; and corporate offices.

Our communications efforts that complemented the paid campaign included organic social media and earned media with online/print coverage, including the Los Angeles Times, Atlanta Business Chronicle, Washington Business Journal, Hartford Courant, and television coverage in Los Angeles and Washington, DC.
