Mad Hat Maven partnered with the AIDS Foundation Houston and Mistr to create an interactive digital campaign designed to promote PrEP to gay men and educate about the free programs offered by our client, including the free delivery of the preventive drug for HIV/AIDS. Initially, this campaign was focused on live events, but after the pandemic caused our city to lock down, we immediately researched the best social and gay dating apps to launch a safety campaign to “reduce the risk” for men. Once we pivoted the strategy, the audience engaged was not only gay men, but any man susceptible to contracting HIV/AID due to unprotected sex. The following statistics and graphics demonstrate that we successfully launched the program, achieving over 72,000 impression and over 8,000 link clicks in June and July 2020.
