Hysan Place and Bizhouse were looking for a way to help promote safer social distancing activities with friends in Hong Kong who at the time could not go out and enjoy their regular weekend activities like going to clubs, pubs, restaurants and cinemas because of social distancing.
Both organisations sought out the team at Creative Theory Group who helped them develop, create and distribute a short run social media series called "Socially Distant Saturdays" which helped promote simple activities that could be held in small groups by friends who were living in bubble situations (not COVID affected, not going out for work or play but able to socialise in small groups of under five safely).
The series is a quirky, fun and enjoyable set of films that promotes simple ideas like: rooftop cinemas, silent discos and other such ideas to the audience to pursue.
The series was recognised by many local publications in Hong Kong and promoted heavily by local influencers across numerous social media channels.
It also raised the profile of both Hysan Place and Bizhouse in the social awareness space and as part of their CSR initiatives.
