2020 is the first year of the 5G era in Taiwan. But even if customers get ahold of "golden spectrum," consumers are still unfamiliar with 5G, and different companies' apps are all pretty much the same. How can we find a new path for our customers? Because the FarEasTone brand has long had an image of humanity, warmth, and use of technology to bring people closer together, when it introduced its 5G product, it set the tone with its "FET 5G" and used the video promoting its "lightning-fast browsing, first-class experience" 5G as its main communication message. This fast-paced video emphasizes speed, attitude, and product hard power.
The video pitches 5G's "velocity" and "putting the future within reach," and takes "I care about speed, I won’t settle" as its focal point. It presents the four major featured apps using interspersed virtual/physical approaches, and establishes a 5G application image for the brand that distinguishes it from competing products. The video uses the brand's red, black, and white colors in conjunction with such relevant application elements as 5G, prime spectrum, and sense of speed, together with the main visual design, to create a series of works with the same style, which ensures integrated, continuous communication.
The brand's prime slice of wireless spectrum can be likened to a prime cut of tuna sushi. When the video begins, the first thing we see is a sushi master serving tuna belly sushi, which establishes linkage between the prime cut of sushi and FarEasTone's prime 5G spectrum. To make the cuts between virtual and physical scenes smoother and more appealing, the video shows the use of 3D printing to make a physical toy that looks like an animation robot. Although every step in realizing this virtual robot character was more complicated than expected, this process has effectively attracted customers' attention and induced discussion.
