Huge unrealized potential lies in the future customers of banks - the kids. Unfortunately, the banking solutions available aren't suitable for their needs and perception. With this UX design concept, we inspire the financial industry to dedicate more focus to this matter, demonstrating that the true impact of financial design goes well beyond the level of UI. In fact, it's truly capable of changing lives!
CHALLENGE
Kids face discrimination in Finance. Existing financial institutions focus on adult digital products and do not help children integrate into the cashless digital economy. Some banks do not provide cards and accounts for kids, even though many parents give their kids cash starting from the age of 6.
MISSION
Help parents to raise kids with successful habits. Money and home tasks are difficult topics in most families. There are a lot of conflicts raised because of misunderstandings between parents and children. A kids’ banking digital solution could decrease this tension by providing clear and future-oriented rules.
DESIGN
We needed to look outside of the traditional way of how we are used to making designs. Using animated 3D, we achieved the effect of emotions and dynamic environments that we wanted to make feel alive. And such experience and approach are not used in kids banking products at all.
RESULTS
Kids and Parents are WOWED! Testing results prove that kids are interested and willing to explore banking solutions because it is understandable for them, not only from a language point of view but also from a visual perspective.
