After a challenging year, the IMF’s in-house creatives crafted a holiday card to usher in 2021 with thoughts of resilience and beauty. As both a call-back to the IMF’s founding mission of economic growth and stability and a message of optimism at the year ahead, the card uses simple cover copy to convey the ideas of “HEALTH • PEACE • PROSPERITY” and iconic images underlying those themes nested within the larger numerals to mark the beginning of the year 2021. The card was distributed in multiple languages both digitally and on a printed 5x7 card with gold foil sleeking.
