We were engaged to redesign the online customer experience for an insurance company while simultaneously streamlining business operations and processes for an overstretched business owner.
The business owner had cobbled together multiple disjointed and unoptimized technologies to sell insurance for firearms and hunting trophies. Due to the fact that firearms can be a controversial topic, we had to approach his brand messaging and potential future ad campaigns with sensitivity.
As a small father and son brokerage, they needed our help to update their website with new messaging, imagery, and backend technology.
Within 2 weeks of launching the site, conversions jumped +100% and customers engaged in the new renewal process were delighted with the streamlined process.
When we began our creative discussions with the client, we quickly discovered that their vision didn’t match their current branding presentation. They were using an outdated video that looked like several animals from around the world were fighting one another while the camera panned 360 degrees. They had outgrown the Wix platform and needed more from their CMS. All of the messaging was around purchasing policies but none of the benefits of having insurance or why their policies were in fact the best value and coverage.
From a black, gray and red palette with multiple broken elements and a desktop only version - we transformed their brand image through their website to a more sophisticated, persona-focused, polished presentation. By bringing in natural earth tones and connecting with the emotions people feel when out in the wild, we brought a sense of majesty and serenity to their visuals.
Our female-led team also worked to make the site’s imagery inclusive of the growing cadre of women hunters and competitive shooters. We also worked to answer questions that would help address a broad range of shooting enthusiasts - from beginners, to competitors, from trophy hunters to trap and skeet shooters.
We wrote all of the web copy and created new ways for them to engage with customers and prospects through a newsletter and blog.
