Located in the heart of Midtown Miami, Gio Midtown is a luxury residential property with a mid-century modern vibe and an over-the-top suite of amenities. The brand is anchored on the mid-century style that sets this property apart from it’s competitors. Stantec Branding worked with Magellan Development and Bozzuto Management to create a memorable brand campaign for this distinguished property. Inspired by 20th-Century Italian Modernism—Gio’s logo uses an elongated hexagon shape to create a mark that feels elegant and modern. The logo and property name anchor the brand in its mid-century design. The brand campaign pairs Miami palm motifs with patterns and a layering of shapes and colors, evocative of mid-century design. Hexagonal motifs bring together the brand, interior design and mid-century inspiration to create an experience that is holistic and cohesive. Gio’s website uses a scrolling design with parallax effects to create an immersive home page experience that takes the user through an overview which feels fluid and engaging. Introductions to the property are interspersed with dramatic full-screen moments and pull quotes. The scrolling design is used throughout the site in unique and engaging ways, such as the neighborhood page in which a minimalist map animates as the user scrolls, in order to illustrate how quickly one can get around from the property’s location in Midtown Miami. Using the visual motifs from the website Gio’s print package is a perfect complement to the digital experience. The hexagonal pattern is printed with a spot high-gloss sheen over a soft touch coating for an elegant and tactile product.
