Algae Display Font Poster

For this typeface project, I wanted to come up with a really elegant style that evoked a picture of flowing water. In order to do this, I looked for a grid system that was comprised of curves and twirls to recreate the imagery of moving water. The system I eventually found is made up of squares and circles and brings to mind the shapes and movements seen in marine algae forms. This is a multilingual typeface suitable for multiple applications, such as cosmetics, or editorials. Most suitable as a display font, I gave it a conscious feeling of sophistication. I feel that when viewing these characters from a slight distance, it almost appears to be a waterfall of letters down the page.
