As an innovative mobile app, Cicada Sleep App can analyze snores according to sound and help diagnose SAS with artificial intelligence, realizing three core functions of monitoring, evaluation and optimization. Relying on high-precision AI algorithms that is of low computational load and applicable to smart phones, it is convenient for users to monitor sleep at home without any costs. The app also has an original audio collector to precisely recognize snores and breath-holding, and record the frequency when users are asleep. The irrelevant sounds like ambient noise, flapdoodle in sleep won’t be included. As for the evaluation function, the built-in AI algorithm can analyze the recorded data, including the frequency, duration and maximum db of snoring, the frequency and duration of breath holding, to concluded an accurate result quickly about the daily health index in multiple dimensions, thus making it easier for users to understand. By comparing the accumulated data, the effect of treatment can be presented in a direct way to provide a basis for treatment adjustment or optimization. Besides, this app pioneers a novel data presentation structure comprehensible for users, including indexes of sleep health, sleep disturbance and health hazard, so that early detection and treatment becomes possible, reducing the impact of illness on health. Furthermore, to protect the privacy, the analysis of audio data is completed in the user's mobile phone to minimize privacy data breach.
