With the second wave of the pandemic in decline and after almost two years of social distancing the summer of 2021 was a summer of hope. EURO 2020 and the Tokyo Olympics were the two biggest sporting events of the year and with Hungarian athletes representing the country in both major events the summer of 2021 wasn’t just the summer of hope, but also the summer of unity.
The Hungarian Lottery Company is one of the biggest strategic partner of the Hungarian Football Federation and the Olympic and Paralympic teams, financially. But in times like these we wanted to unite the entire country and position Tippmix (the Hungarian Lottery Company’s sub brand and sports betting platform) as the biggest emotional sponsor not just of the athletes, but of the nation, too.
When a team or athlete achieves the best and stands on the top of the podium they raise a flag for their honor. But when we see our flag and hear our anthem we all stand proud. It’s moments like these that can bring an entire nation together because we are one. One as a nation and one with the athletes, sharing experiences, traditions, hardships, speaking the same language.
In our campaign we highlighted famous soccer players and athletes, showing their drive, determination and efforts but conveying the message: they are just like us and we are just like them, because we are one and should stand together, under one flag.
