When G4 went off air in 2014 it left an entire demographic of video game-loving and pop-culture obsessed viewers without an outlet to explore and celebrate their interests. Though G4 remained active throughout the following years online and in social media, the announcement that G4 was relaunching and conquering digital and linear schedules once more sent shockwaves through the gaming and media worlds alike — and Mnemonic was right there to help G4 live up to high public expectations. Mnemonic team members developed custom branding content that answered G4’s desire to pay homage to their original fan base with nostalgic callbacks as well as welcome the next generation of viewers with all-new and engaging content focused on the future. Through a combination of personal expertise and creative collaboration, Brent Redford, Ben Kilgust, Laura Hillen, and Summer Flood created intro videos and graphic assets for G4’s Catastrophic Launch Event, Crash Course, Tyler1’s Money Match, and revered flagship show, Attack of the Show.
