A logo is the face of any organization. At Ansys, we decided ours needed a redesign to be more modern and approachable. So, we removed the black box that used to surround the ANSYS name in the logo to make it more flexible for layouts. We also replaced the all-caps “ANSYS,” which implies shouting in today’s world of texting, with a softer “Ansys.” Our creative team developed a stylized, modular “A” with the first leg of the letter in Ansys gold, leaning forward to point the way to future success. The cross bar in the “A” was eliminated to give it a more futuristic “Λ” look. The leading gold line in the “Λ” was branded as “The Shape of Things to Come” so it can be used as a standalone symbol of our company in all web, technical, and marketing assets. We also brand it as the line that has to be crossed to go from the impossible to the possible, which our simulation software products help engineers worldwide to do.
