AARP created the “Generations of Pride” outreach campaign to celebrate Pride celebrations across LGBTQ+ communities with AARP state offices. The work showed age as a diverse component of inclusion and recognized this community as part of the larger AARP family. Materials were created to showcase AARP value as part of our diversity, equity, and inclusion work across the 50-plus audience. Traditional print was part of the core suite of materials, but also included social, digital, and in-person signage and promotional items. States were encouraged to use this suite to show visibility within target communities for relevance.
