For a weekend in March, we turned a trendy Tokyo coffee shop into the Maple Monks café - featuring shojin dishes - especially developed in collaboration with Japanese Buddhist monks to demonstrate the purity true maple syrup from Canada has and encourage usage.
Visitors could try the exclusive dishes while having a chat with the monks themselves on everything from the importance of pure food to life advice. We offered reservation coupons via our social channels to spread the word and facilitate a smoother experience for all that wanted to visit.
