Prudential were looking for an interesting way to introduce their new Group CEO Anil Wadhwani.
As such they decided to partner with creative visual content agency APV | Casual in Hong Kong to create a film that introduced Anil to both intern and external stakeholders in a simple, clean, emotive and human way.
APV created a series of short films that were dropped throughout Anil's first week in the job culminating in a hero film that launched on the Friday.
The story showcases how Anil is the first Asia based CEO, a key moment as Prudential PLC's business has pivoted towards the regions of Asia and Africa to be well positioned to address the underserved needs of millions of people.
The film illustrates how with Anil’s wealth of international experience, Prudential are in good hands, and can look forward to the growth trajectory ahead.
The series was put together in record time, filming Anil on his first official day (a Saturday) and launching the first episode the following Monday and this final episode on the Friday.
But challenges are nothing new to the experienced storytelling team at APV | Casual.
The films were released internally and across social media to an enthusiastic response and positive comments and feedback from all audiences.
