In 2022, NAR’s flagship event, REALTORS® Conference & Expo, underwent a significant transformation. The event was rebranded as NAR NXT, The REALTOR® Experience, where members were invited to explore what’s new and what’s NXT, exchange ideas and info, experiment with cutting edge innovation and get insights from top experts. NAR NXT was marketed as the can’t-miss experience designed to put members on a path to exponential growth!
‘Growth’ was further embedded with the 2022 theme Ready. Set. GROW! All marketing efforts, from attendee acquisition to onsite branding, centered on this theme.
Major marketing initiatives included:
• Onsite branding: 50% of budget (creating a cohesive look/feel tied to theme and “X” words representing NXT, including convention center, host hotels, Universal Islands of Adventure)
• SEO, paid search and ads (first-time initiative): 17% of budget
• Onsite promotions: 5% of budget (commemorative pins, seed packets, goodie bag insert)
• Additional efforts include paid social media (15%) and print ads (13%)
