This project is an upgrade and optimization of Moutai’s official website. The design team highlighted Moutai’s culture and aesthetics, using standardized visuals to vividly introduce Moutai’s century-old culture.
At the top of the webpage is a rotating banner serving as a guide. The main body is divided into a cultural display area (left) and a functional interaction area (right). The cultural display area runs through the entire webpage, conveying the “five-dimensional aesthetics” of the Moutai brand from space, time, people, science, and culture. The design team combines elements such as Moutai landmarks, natural ecology, brewing process, heritage and innovation, and story and culture. As the user scrolls down, all elements will gradually appear with ink wash effects, eventually forming the bottle of Moutai, impressing the user with the long history and cultural connotations of Moutai.
For the title of the functional interaction area on the right side, the team blended Moutai’s “five paths of development” into the auspicious cloud graphic, forming a five-colored auspicious cloud to represent auspiciousness. Its shape resembles the waft of wine fragrance, and it also stands for the aged-long history of the Chishui River (the source of Moutai’s brewing water). Embellished with regional iconic architecture graphics, the overall style seems harmonious and unified, with rich elements and a sense of order. Also, the “nine cultures” of Moutai are integrated into the background of the webpage as textures, conveying the culture of Moutai to users in a subtle way.
