Monkton Corporate Identity & Logo Redesign

In 2023, Monkton, Inc., a pioneer and market leader for secure mobility, Edge Computing, and Cloud Native development, redesigned their website, logo, and brand identity in partnership with Mortensen Designs. Monkton believes in creatively guiding clients in the right direction, and the new logo, featuring the star-shaped brandmark, the “lodestar blossom,” was inspired by the lodestar symbolism: a star used to guide the course of a ship. The new brandmark was also inspired by cherry blossoms, as a nod to Monkton’s commitment to the spirit of Washington DC. The "burst" at the center of the brandmark represents the various paths to progress as Monkton builds faster ways to fix things.

Like seasons, Monkton moves through our approach to problem solving in a cycle. We strongly believe in the concept of iterate, improve, repeat. We did that with our new brand and website, and we also do it every day with our clients.

Monkton’s new brand identity signals the immediate value the company brings to the market: Develop and build faster ways to fix things for public and private sector customers so they can meet their missions faster. With new products and capabilities expanding later this year, there is so much in store we’re excited to share. Our new brand identity is just the beginning!
