Birthday Rescue

On January 17, 2022, we celebrated Betty White's 100th birthday the only way we knew how - by sharing the love she has for animals.

It was our client's, Pet Recuse Pilots, mission to land as many pets as possible in their forever homes. By simply relocating these pets via air, their rescue network is able to get them adopted into loving forever homes within 2 weeks of arrival.

With Betty White being a huge supporter of animals, celebrating her birthday was a no brainer. After being tagged in the #BettyWhiteChallenge, we got to work drumming up video footage from past flights and created a fundraising campaign in honor of Betty White herself. We used the iconic song from Golden Girls, "Thank you for being a friend," because of Betty's support and friendship of all animals. In one day we raised $2,534.65 on social media from this video alone!

We even had a flight planned this day to honor Betty a little more where Pet Rescue Pilots took to the skies with 10 dogs rescued in the Chino area, flown to Oregon, where they will land directly in the loving arms of foster and forever families.

Our video campaign was viewed over 11,000 times, reached over 10,000 accounts on Instagram, 78 shares on Instagram and many likes, comments and saves. We were happy to have the success that we did with this fundraising campaign to help rescue more pets.
