Twice a year, the IMF hosts one of the largest gatherings of diplomatic and economic dignitaries in the world. In general, the Meetings are meant to foster unilateralism among our 190 member countries, but more specifically, each Meeting is based around the pressing macroeconomic issues of the moment.
To reinforce these topics, we create all Meeting-specific branding incorporating the iconography of the given themes (inflation, financial technologies, climate, inequality, and geoeconomics). These distinctive and color-coded patterns recur throughout the meetings to wordlessly offer an immediate signifier of topic and relevance for an international audience.
