Finance Academy

Finance Academy is a robust reimagining of how financial education can be taught in the digital age. On behalf of Fifth Third Bank, VMG Studios gathered financial educational standards then mapped those to a High School curriculum.
But we took it a step farther. We don’t believe in learning programs that are designed like PowerPoint slides. We believe in rich media: animation, design, and sound that has motivation, grace, and purpose. So, we created loveable characters, deeply developed, with back stories, individual personalities, and quirky characteristics. We also created an entire world of branded colors, sounds, and animation styles to engage learners and pique their humor and curiosity. Then, after creating this rich world, we added custom, original mini games, to further delight young learners.
The result is a robust learning program spanning 3 courses and 16 lessons, full of rich media and interactive content. And the programming and creative development didn’t stop there. We also carefully crafted a platform experience where students can track their scores, achievements, awards, and certificates. The site is easily accessible on the web once enrolled in the program and is fully branded with the colors and vibe of the program experience itself.
