In December of last year D-ID launched Agents, powered by its proprietary NUI (Natural User Interface) technology. NUI is the natural progression from text-based digital interactions to audio and video, enabling deeper and more meaningful digital experiences. Prior to launching Agents and NUI, D-ID was primarily a video generation company with its Creative Reality Studio. Launching NUI propelled the company into a new era, with a new vision and strategic narrative, shifting the company from a B2C to a B2B business model, from creative use cases to transforming how businesses interact with customers. The process involved a one-year rebrand journey with a top branding firm during which D-ID changed most of its visuals including its logo design, brand colors, fonts and styles, iconography, and more.
With the introduction of NUI, D-ID is offering an innovative platform where companies build interfaces customers can talk to, that understand them, and that they can trust – no typing, no clicking, just face-to-face conversation. In the world D-ID is creating, interfaces are more than just technical intermediaries between humans and software – they’re trusted collaboration partners, guides, and even friends.
D-ID Agents are conversational AI avatars that can hear, think, and speak in real-time enabling businesses of all sizes to provide consumers with the lifelike customer experience and service they demand. NUI enables the avatars to engage in a conversation with a customer, creating a sense of mutual understanding, emotional connection, and trust.
