Each year the NAR Creative team chooses a design direction that either pays homage to a historical design aesthetic, or incorporates current or futuristic design trends, and then we apply that direction to elevate the NAR Brand Shapes in specific ways that relate to and celebrate annual holidays and observances.
In 2023 we incorporated a maximalist aesthetic combined with risoprint inspired airbrush effects, and used our brand shapes to create designs that captured the sentiment of each holiday or observance, taking careful consideration to observe appropriate tones based on each holiday or observance.
