Design Studio at PA Consulting

For PA, product design is a strategic differentiator. Our global organisation is comprised of thousands of experts, including scientists, engineers, and designers.
Within this context, we are proud that our in-house Design Studio (DS) has become the strategic advisor for all aspects of PA’s visual identity, marketing design, bids and presentations.
DS comprises a team of just 14 brand & marketing designers and presentation specialists. In the last two years, five of our team members have gained promotion.

Visual identity
In 2022, our small team undertook to refresh PA’s visual identity in-house.
• A complete overhaul of our brand design system, including logo; fonts and typography; colour palette, photography and illustration.
• Accessibility is at heart of our decision-making process.
• Launched in October 2022, the refresh hit all touchpoints.
• We managed a rigorous stakeholder engagement process, tailored for different audiences — from the PA Board, to Design Capability Leads (including recent acquisitions).
• Alongside our Marketing colleagues we developed a comprehensive implementation and communication strategy.

During this same period, we also developed our bids and pursuits offering:
• Winning bids +67%.
• Total bids supported +43%.
• Value of winning bids +26%.
• Total value of all bids +53%.
