YUNLIN INTERNATIONAL PUPPET THEATER FESTIVAL MUSIC PARTY

The Yunlin International Puppet Theater Festival is the 21st edition of Taiwan's premier puppet show event. In 2023, the festival is a creative fusion of tradition and modernity that aims to reinterpret the traditional Taiwanese art of Puppetry from a new perspective. Themed "Puppetry Kaleidoscope", the event combined the fantastic martial arts world of Pili Puppet Legend with modern electronic music culture through a variety of performances, bringing an unprecedented audio-visual feast to the audience.
The event featured an electro party led by DJ@llen, the Godfather of Taiwanese electro music. He rearranged the music of the oriental style of the Puppet Theater into an electronic format and combined it with a colorful laser light show to shape a stunning atmosphere. In addition, puppet showmanship and spoken word performances, live DJ performances, and performances combining martial arts and cosplay were all highlights of the event, demonstrating the versatility and innovative spirit of the culture of Pili Puppet Legend.
