uVoice is a smart glasses solution paired with a mobile app designed to empower individuals with speech disabilities and communication disorders to communicate effectively using AI and AR technology. Our mission is to help people speak in their own voice!
Communication disorders affect an estimated 5% to 10% of the U.S. population, with approximately 3 million adults experiencing stuttering, 1 million adults facing aphasia, and 5% of U.S. children dealing with noticeable speech issues. While global statistics on communication disabilities are limited, conservative estimates suggest that by 2025, there will be 190.5 million individuals facing such challenges in low- and middle-income countries. uVoice aims to address these needs by harnessing artificial intelligence to learn users' language and communication patterns, providing tailored chat responses, and facilitating smooth and confident self-expression for those with communication disorders.
By utilizing AI, uVoice enables users to generate their own voices within the app. Users can practice conversations with the AI and receive valuable feedback to enhance their communication skills. In challenging scenarios, such as in-person interactions, users can wear the smart glasses to ensure seamless communication. uVoice suggests responses based on its understanding of the users, allowing them to speak independently while articulating on their behalf using their AI-generated voices.
As users engage with uVoice, the AI continuously refines its predictive capabilities, delivering increasingly personalized responses that align with each user's unique communication and language habits
