About The Entry

Against the backdrop of the digital age, Internet culture has become an integral part of modern life. It not only shapes people’s daily behavior patterns, but also influences their dreams in an unnoticed manner. This project conducts a deep psychological study based on crawled Weibo data, aiming to reveal a realm of thinking—rich in symbols and metaphors. It provides a comprehensive view of individuals’ complex psychological and emotional activities in the convergence of the virtual and the real in the digital age.
The project utilizes NLP (Natural Language Processing) techniques to crawl data of dream-related posts from Weibo for systematical organization and processing. The application of LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) and sentiment analysis datasets effectively reveals the latent relationship between dreams and emotions. Additionally, this project categorizes and refines dream descriptions based on keywords for LORA model training, visualizing dream descriptions through AI-generated paintings. This not only helps viewers understand dreams more intuitively, but also stimulates their deeper thinking on dreams.
The final publication, centered around individuals, reconstructs the social network map. Its cover ingeniously incorporates the word association network based on user data from Weibo, visually demonstrating the connections and interactions among users. The inner pages, through the organic combination of text and visual content, display detailed dream descriptions and AI-generated paintings, further evoking viewers’ associations, resonance, and reflection.
