Whale Fall: Tides of Life is an immersive digital art short film specifically created for the Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom.
Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom is the world’s largest ocean theme park. Our team used a stylized artistic approach, depicting the moment when a giant whale’s life ends, giving rise to a new ecosystem on the venue’s massive curved screen. Through dynamic scene transitions and interactive biological imagery, combined with high-quality environmental sound effects and music, the film tells a whale’s life cycle, illustrating the miracles that unfold over time and offering viewers a visually compelling way to engage with natural life education.
Our creation breaks free from the usual constraints of ocean-themed exhibitions and the limitations of exhibition space. By using advanced 3D digital technology, we maximized the visual impact of the curved screen, creating an immersive ocean experience that makes viewers feel as if they are truly surrounded by the sea. Ultimately, the piece delivers a digital art experience that deeply integrates with the ocean atmosphere, enhancing the visual appeal of the Ocean Kingdom and transforming it into a vibrant, immersive visual gateway.
