Each year, T/K partners with Interface, the global flooring solutions company and leader in sustainability, to support its Global Product Launches. One of these launch moments in 2024 was during NeoCon in Chicago, one of the biggest commercial design events every year. Interface unveiled its latest global carpet tile and luxury vinyl tile (LVT) collections at its Chicago showroom during the event.
Prior to the show, T/K collaborated closely with Interface and participated in strategy discussions to prepare for NeoCon and the full launch. As part of this effort, T/K led the development and management of the following:
• Developing seven content pieces and supporting materials, including press releases, key messages, etc.
• Facilitating media training sessions
• Securing and managing on-site media briefings
• Submitting for and securing award wins for the collections
• Partnering with furniture partners at the show for product trade and promotional opportunities
• Testing out-of-home advertising via paid placements at Chicago Transit Authority Rail Station entrances, near the Merchandise Mart and Fulton Market, to get in front of attendees at both key locations during ‘Chicago Design Week’ and drive more awareness of the showroom.
Results
As a result of these efforts, T/K was able to help achieve the following:
• 25 editorial mentions, including an audience reach of 913M
• 3 award recognitions
• 14 on-site media briefings
