Our digital innovation extends beyond publishing through two groundbreaking initiatives. Performap.com, funded by Yale Digital Humanities Lab and LMDA, serves as an interactive digital map of 340 international theatre festivals, enabling users to discover performances worldwide through intuitive date, location, and type-based search functions.
The International Online Theatre Festival (IOTF - https://thetheatretimes.com/iotfestival/) represents our commitment to accessible theatre experiences, reaching over 1 million participants across three editions. In all four editions so far, IOTF showcased 140 shows from 30 countries. This initiative earned second place in the 2021 Culture Online International Award for "Best Online Project," selected from 452 global submissions across 20 countries.
Our platform's excellence in digital theatre scholarship was recognized by the 2024 joint ATHE-ASTR Award for Excellence in Digital Theatre and Performance Scholarship, acknowledging our innovative approach to knowledge dissemination. Additionally, our dramaturgical contributions were honored with the 2018 Elliott Hayes Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dramaturgy from LMDA.

By transcending geographical, social, political, and economic barriers, our platform creates a truly transnational and cross-cultural space for theatre encounters. We've transformed how theatre professionals, scholars, and enthusiasts engage with performing arts globally, making cultural exchange accessible to anyone with an internet connection.
Through innovative digital solutions, comprehensive coverage, and commitment to accessibility, TheTheatreTimes.com has become the most far-reaching global theatre portal, fostering international dialogue and cultural understanding in the digital age.
