‘Sss-ful Blessings, Bites of Prosperity’ combines the classic elements of the Snake game with the clever wordplay of traditional New Year’s blessings. Paying tribute to the iconic Nokia 3310 red model, we recreated that nostalgic gaming memory on this card. The ‘Sss’ sound mimics the hiss of the snake, while in Chinese it also sounds like ‘事事’ (pronounced ‘shi shi’), meaning ‘everything’ or ‘every wish,’ symbolizing the blessing of ‘everything goes as you wish.’ Each ‘bite’ of ‘Prosperity’ represents the accumulation of blessings and achievements, just like how the Snake in the game grows with every piece it eats, bringing progress and success in the New Year.

The typography design uses a pixelated style, with the snake’s path interacting with the text, creating a fusion of gameplay and blessing. The font is not just statically arranged; it gradually evolves through the snake’s ‘eating’ process, conveying the continuous growth of good fortune and joy. The growth of each word symbolizes the accumulation of blessings, representing steady progress and achievement in the coming year.
