Our two projections during The Khareef Dhofar Festival 2024 in Oman (15 June - 1 September at Burj An Nahdah & Ittin Square, Salalah)
It was a huge, large-scale event, and we were just part of it. Many other events occurred on the same dates. We realized a 3D video and laser mapping projection on all four sides of the Burj An Nahdah Tower, along with a water animation fountain attraction. This attraction featured a combination of a water screen shield with 20-meter jets that create variable effects. It was enhanced by lasers, video projections, and ambient lighting. The video content for both projections was custom-designed and featured national symbols, logos, animals, and elements of space. It was created to appeal to all age groups, including many tourists and children.

PREPARATION
-complete technical documentation and drawings, design proposals, and visual renderings due to presentation for the municipality
-lots of equipment, shipping several times from UAE, SK, TR, DE
-implementation and preparation of the entire project lasted directly 3 months
-multiple shipping was by air and by land
-water chemistry needed to clean the sediments (for freshwater)
-12 water tanks, pool volume 240 m3
-need for heavy equipment-crane for pool construction, forklift for picking up and transferring things
-problems: humidity, wind, rain, heat, sand - cleaning of laser optics, pool, video projectors, the firing of laser scanners on-site solution directly there with a replacement set
-the necessity to have fountain spare parts (1pc nozzle broke) and spare parts for lasers (scanners set, cleaning tools)
-Pool water was recycled - sustainability (non-salt water)
-the total show was 15 min, of which the main show was 8 min, and the rest was ambient lighting -after a month, additional programming and new effects to the visual on the client's wishes to enhance the whole attraction
-domestic music as an element incorporated into the synchronized show
