Vibrant color is the Caribbean!
In celebration of 85 years serving its island communities, Kooyman launched a groundbreaking outdoor mural project called “Colors of the Caribbean."
Five unique island artists were commissioned to create a mural that brought to life the essence of their island, and helped to uplift, support and beautify their communities. Kooyman supported their vision with ideal mural locations within the community as well as the painting supplies they need to get the job done.
The artists drew inspiration from nature, history, culture, people, faces, architecture, music, etc. capturing the essence of island pride, hope and beauty…and building a better future together.
The “Colors of the Caribbean" project has been a huge success and a true "win-win." Kooyman is able to organically promote its range and quality of paint products while simultaneously positively impacting the quality of life for their communities.
Each of the artists had a dedicated production team capturing video and photos of the mural creation process. That content was then used for artist profile pages on the website and mini-documentaries. The content also cascaded to social media, brochures, newsletters, in-store signage, etc.
All amounting to an additional level of ROI beyond the murals themselves.
