Polaris sells its products through an international network of 2,500 independent dealerships. Before Polaris can start retailing to consumers, it must first sell the dealer network on the supremacy and market appeal of new product offerings. The 3,500 dealership principles and staff attending the Summer Dealer Meeting were the primary target audience for the XD 1500 launch.
As a publicly traded company, Polaris is closely followed by an influential group of analysts and investors, roughly 60 of whom are regularly invited to their dealer meetings. These key financial influencers were an important secondary target audience for the XD 1500 launch.
The Polaris Summer Dealer Meeting is an annual gathering of the 2,500 independent powersports dealers who retail the company’s recreation and utility vehicles. The focus of the 2023 meeting was to inform and inspire dealers about new products and programs. Of particular importance was launching the RANGER XD 1500, the newest flagship for the company’s industry-leading utility brand.
Polaris tasked Media Loft with developing an unforgettable introduction that would generate excitement and help drive sales at the wholesale level. Since the physical constraints of the ballroom limited what we could do with the vehicle itself, we relied on a strategic combination of custom animation, special effects, and celebrity endorsement to create an unforgettable unveiling.
