In a climate of rising costs, Ontario small businesses need energy-efficient solutions but skepticism of “free” offers remains a challenge. With turnkey service and up to $5,500 in free refrigeration and lighting upgrades, we shifted perception of the Small Business Program from “too good to be true” to “too good to pass up”.
Our multi-channel campaign targeted small businesses, anchored by a series of testimonial videos featuring real business owners, from retailers to restaurant owners.
Using authentic testimonials, we achieved remarkable success: 1.6M+ impressions and 40K+ pageviews with a cost-effective CPM of $0.66 and strong 0.44% CTR. Most importantly, 144 businesses signed up to take the first step towards energy savings, proving that authenticity transforms skepticism into action.
