‘ALKEBULAN’ [pronounced 'Al-keh-boo-lahn'. Translates to ‘Mother of Mankind’; ‘Garden of Eden’]: the ancient, indigenous name of our Motherland, Africa, prior to its colonization.

GRAMMY®-Winning Artist Matt B has returned with the sequel to his African-inspired album 'ALKEBULAN' (2023). Recorded in London at the legendary Abbey Road Studios and featuring the inimitable Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, 'ALKEBULAN II' explores the struggles, losses, and oppression of our ancestors and how these conflicts mirror Matt’s own personal journey in his life and career in the present day.
