Parkland Food Bank came to us with a heartfelt challenge: to refresh their brand in a way that felt modern and professional, while still staying true to the warmth, compassion, and deep community connection at the heart of their work. As a vital support system in their region, they needed a visual identity that reflected not only who they are now, but where they are going, one that could help them grow their fundraising efforts, strengthen partnerships, and better connect with the people they serve.
One of the key goals was to maintain a sense of continuity with their existing brand, while introducing a flexible and accessible visual system that could work across digital platforms, merchandise, uniforms, and signage. Above all, they wanted to build trust and emotional resonance with their audience: donors, volunteers, and community members alike.
The goals of the project were clear: increase visibility and recognition, support strategic growth, create a cohesive and approachable look and feel, and build a brand that reflects their values of care, dignity, and inclusion. The challenge was finding the right balance. We needed to honor the seriousness of the work they do, while also making sure the brand felt open, engaging, and welcoming to people of all ages and backgrounds.
This project was also the first full expression of our new Impact 10 initiative, where we commit ten percent of our billable hours to nonprofit work chosen by our clients. It was a reminder that giving back is not only possible, it is deeply rewarding. Through Impact 10, we are not just delivering design; we are sharing knowledge, building confidence, and helping organizations like Parkland tell their stories in ways that move people to act. It is work that creates real impact, and we are proud to be setting a new example for what creative agencies can contribute to their communities.
